TEHRAN —The closing ceremony of the 10th Farabi International Award on the Humanities and Islamic Studies was held in Tehran on Sunday.

36 award winners were announced during the ceremony attended by First Vice-President Es’haq Jahangiri; the vice president for science and technology, Sorena Sattari; and Science Minister Mansour Gholami in attendance. 

Farabi International Award, which is specifically aimed at the development of Islamic humanities, is held by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on an annual basis.
